Job summary Healthcare Assistant Band 2 37.5 hours per week The Cardiology Unit Ward A11 are looking for a motivated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our busy 27-bedded cardiology unit. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team delivering high-quality care to patients with a range of cardiac conditions. We are offering full time hours covering covering a 24hr service. Main duties of the job
The Healthcare Assistant role is key to ensuring that our nursing teams are supported to deliver consistently, high quality, patient centred care.
This is a great oppurtunity for dedicated and caring people who really want to make a difference to our patients.
You care for other people and and your willingness to provide the best possible care to patients and relatives will ensure your success in the role.
Friendly and approachable in your style, you'll be someone who can communicate well, be able to organise your workload accordingly and be a reliable point of support for patients, relatives and your colleagues.

If successful this vacancy will require a Standard DBS check at a cost of £54.90. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary
In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £16.

Education Essential
Basic literacy and numeracy skills Good standard of written and spoken English
