Main duties of the job
As part of our Criminal Justice Team, you'll support people whose lives have been affected by substance misuse and involvement with the criminal justice system.
Working closely with courts, probation services, prisons and partner agencies, you'll help individuals address the challenges that contribute to offending, supporting them on their journey towards recovery, stability and a more positive future.This is a rewarding role for someone who is compassionate, resilient and committed to helping people achieve meaningful change.

To provide assessment, brief interventions and referral for substance misusers with the custody suite and court.
Person Specification
Experience Essential
Experience of working within substance misuse services.
Desirable
Experience of working within the criminal justice system.
Qualifications Essential
We're looking for someone who has experience of working in substance misuse or a related field and is passionate about supporting people to reach their potential. You will hold one of the following: A relevant degree such as Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or a related discipline; or A Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification) A Level 3 qualification in Tackling Substance Misuse (or equivalent)
