Job summary
The post holder will be responsible for assisting the therapy staff in the screening, application and monitoring treatment programmes of delegated patients within a broad framework laid down by and as directed by the supervising therapist. The Rehab Support Worker may not receive daily supervision and should be able to take some responsibility for their work and that of others To work within the multi-disciplinary team helping to ensure that the input is integrated in to the patients overall care and treatment plans

The Community Rehabilitation team based within the Tiverton and Cullompton cluster are looking for a proactive and forward thinking Band 3 Rehabilitation Support Worker to join its expanding team. This post may act as an ideal starting point for a candidate seeking a stepping stone to future career development opportunities.
The post holder will work with different medical conditions including stroke, falls, those with long term conditions such as Parkinson's Disease or Multiple Sclerosis , post-surgery, and those with frailty.
The post is open to people who have already completed training in a relevant field to Diploma Level 3. We actively encourage professional development and have a regular in-house training and a supervision support system in place.
The successful candidate will need to have good IT and communication skills, and have the ability to work independently as well as part of the team.
Working Pattern: 30 hours a week. We run a 7 day service, meaning the role will include working shifts across the week so that we support all aspects of daily living. Various shifts are available covering 08:00 - 20:00.
