This post is offered on a permanent basis, working 20 hours per week, 4 days over a 7 day rota including every other weekend. Our Housekeeping shifts are 7.30am - 1pm and 1pm - 6.30pm.This is a great opportunity for work life balance in a meaningful and rewarding role, ensuring our high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
Main duties of the job

We are seeking a hard working Housekeeping Assistant with excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude to join our dedicated Support Services Team.
As a Housekeeper, you play a vital role in allowing our service to operate.
Previous experience of working within a Housekeeping environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

Experience Essential
Knowledge & experience of working to H&SAW, COSHH standards Customer service awareness Strong people skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Good motivational skills with the ability to engage and empathise. The ability to write and produce clear and effective correspondence. Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a team. High standard of personal presentation of work. Ability to operate in a multi-disciplinary environment. Attention to detail and a strong motivation to maintain high standards. Basic PC Skills.
Desirable
Previous experience of working within a Housekeeping environment Familiarity with on-line training modules Experience of maintaining daily records of tasks & safety data Confidence to engage with patients, hospice visitors & the general public.
Qualifications Essential
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, good basic English & Maths

NVQs or equivalent
