About this role
Reporting to the Director of Student Services and working closely with the Academic & Operations Coordinator, the Campus Life & Student Support Coordinator supports students throughout their journey at Les Roches, with a primary focus on B2B student groups.
The role acts as a trusted and approachable point of contact, helping students navigate campus services, understand institutional processes, and adapt to life in Switzerland. The successful candidate will provide practical guidance, answer day-to-day questions, support students in resolving routine challenges, and ensure they receive the assistance they need from the appropriate departments when required.
While supporting B2B students is a key priority, the role is part of the Student Services team and may support the broader student population as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Student Support & Guidance - Act as a first point of contact for student questions, concerns, and practical day-to-day matters. - Provide guidance on campus procedures, services, policies, and expectations. - Help students successfully adapt to life in Switzerland and at Les Roches. - Encourage student independence, responsibility, and engagement. - Follow up with students to ensure required actions and administrative processes are completed.
Campus Navigation & Liaison - Serve as a key point of contact for students seeking guidance and support. - Guide students in accessing services across the institution, including Housing, Career Services, Academics, Finance, Student Affairs, and Operations. - Provide first-line support for routine enquiries and resolve issues whenever possible. - Prepare students for appointments by clarifying processes, expectations, and next steps. - Identify matters requiring additional intervention and refer them to the appropriate department or the Director of Student Services. - Maintain regular communication with the Academic & Operations Coordinator regarding emerging student needs and programme-related concerns.
Student Support & Success - Provide practical guidance to help students adapt to life in Switzerland and at Les Roches. - Explain administrative processes, institutional requirements, and available support services. - Guide students in managing everyday challenges and accessing appropriate resources. - Monitor and follow up on required actions, ensuring key deadlines and obligations are met. -Promote student engagement with Career Services, internship preparation, and professional development opportunities. - Support students before and during their internship experience by providing practical guidance, follow-up, and assistance with administrative, travel, accommodation, and other logistical matters, while working closely with the Internship Department and relevant campus services. - Support onboarding, orientation and student communications. - Assist with group visits, excursions, and programme-related activities as required. - Support graduation-related communications and ensure students complete required administrative steps. - Encourage independence, accountability, and successful integration into the Les Roches community.
Administrative Support - Maintain accurate records of student interactions and follow-up actions. - Coordinate student communications and administrative activities within Student Services. - Contribute to departmental projects and continuous improvement initiatives. - Prepare reports, updates, and summaries as required.
Qualifications & Skills - Les Roches Alumni - Experience in student services, hospitality, customer service, education, administration, or a related support role. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Excellent organisational and follow-up abilities. - Ability to work effectively with students from diverse cultural backgrounds. - Proactive, service-oriented, and solution-focused approach. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality. - Fluent English (spoken and written).
