Are you a qualified LARC Long-Acting Reversible Contraception Nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care? We're currently seeking a skilled Locum LARC Nurse to join a supportive and dynamic team in East London.

Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration Accredited LARC training (coil and implant fitting/removal) Proven experience in sexual and reproductive health services Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Role Details:

Main duties of the job

Provide comprehensive counselling on contraceptive options, with an emphasis on LARC methods including intrauterine devices (IUDs) and contraceptive implants. Assess patient medical history and eligibility for LARC methods. Perform insertions and removals of LARC devices, adhering to clinical protocols and safety guidelines. Monitor for complications or side effects and provide appropriate follow-up care. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care. Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives related to reproductive health services. Qualifications:

Required: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license [State-specific] BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Proven clinical experience in womens health, family planning, or reproductive healthcare Competency in LARC insertion and removal procedures or willingness to be trained Preferred: BSN or higher nursing degree Certification in reproductive health or family planning (e.g., from AWHONN or NCC) Experience working in community health, family planning clinics, or OB-GYN settings
