Job summary
We are looking to recruit a salaried GP for 4-6 sessions under the 2026/27 GP reimbursement Scheme, initially on a fixed term contract with the potential to continue subject to mutual assessment and on-going NHS funding.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, caring GP with a strong work ethic who shares our view of delivering a high standard of care to our patients.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will undertake all duties and responsibilities associated with a General Practitioner working within primary care. Ensuring the provision of high-quality, patient-centred care by complying with all areas of the GMC 'Good Medical Practice'.

The successful candidate will undertake all duties and responsibilities associated with a General Practitioner working within primary care. Providing high-quality, patient-centred care to our practice population whilst working as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team.
Key responsibilities:
Undertake face-to-face, telephone and other patient consultations as appropriate. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in line with local and national guidance. Make appropriate referrals to secondary care and community services. Maintain accurate clinical records Administration of letters, test results etc Duty GP sessions Contribute to quality improvement activities & enhanced service delivery where appropriate
Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
MBBS or equivalent. Full GMC registration with a licence to practice. Inclusion on the NHS Performers List. MRCGP. Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
Evidence of on-going personal and professional development. Evidence of RCGP appraisal & revalidation (where appropriate).
