Preferred candidates will:
• Have an Associate's degree in a related field or experience in industrial or commercial electrical trades.
• Have experience in industrial or commercial electrical trades for a minimum of two years.
• Understanding of OSHA safety requirements in a manufacturing environment
• Able to work independently or in a team environment
• Have strong mathematical skills and strong decision-making skills
• Able to read and follow written and verbal work instructions
• Experience in industrial or commercial maintenance for a minimum of 2 years.
• Have a thorough knowledge of Lock out Tag out procedures
• Be familiar with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) standards
• Working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC)

The candidate will be expected to:
• Follow Twin Rivers Paper safety rules including specific safety rules associated with various tasks. Must use all required safety equipment and complete any training, including electrical training, per OSHA standards.
• Hours will be Monday-Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm with a ½ hour lunch.
• Overtime is required. Be available for emergency call-ins 24 hours a day 7 days per week and work shifts when needed.
• A rotation schedule for weekend call-in coverage may be implemented contingent upon the availability of other qualified employees.
• Must be willing and able to do work that involves considerable stooping, bending, and working on scaffolds.
• Must be willing to do work that requires climbing and working at various heights.
• Responsible for clean-up of work area(s) at the end of each day. Notify supervisor of any potentially dangerous situations and document all corrective actions taken.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Availability to travel will be required including, but not limited to, other TRP mills in NY State and Little Falls Office.
• Must be willing to further education through training and seminars.
Pay Range:
$26.10 - $35.81/hr depending on experience. Overtime available
