About this role
We are looking for an Accountant with hands-on knowledge of hotel accounting and strong attention to detail. This role will support the Finance & Accounting Manager in monthly reporting, daily posting, account reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with the hotel’s policies, procedures, and standards.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure the accuracy of daily postings, calculations, and supporting documentation for all daily transactions.Organize, secure, and maintain accounting files and records in accordance with established policies and procedures.Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, analyze reconciling items, and follow up on outstanding balances.Support the monthly closing process and ensure all postings are complete and accurate.Respond to internal and external inquiries related to accounting matters.Provide support for ad-hoc assignments and audit-related activities as required.Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and accurate accounting processes.Administer monthly tax filing and related documentation as required.Conduct internal audits or accounting reviews when necessary.Perform other duties and assignments as required by the management.Requirements
Bachelor's degree (S1) in Accounting.Minimum 2 years of experience in General Ledger (GL).Previous experience in a 5-star hotel or resort is highly preferred.Strong knowledge of hotel accounting systems, such as SUN System, SAP, VHP, or other relevant accounting systems.Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliation, and monthly closing processes.High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and timely completion of tasks.Experience handling high-volume transaction processing is an advantage.Knowledge of Tax Accounting and monthly tax filing is an advantage.Proficient in Microsoft Excel is required.Strong commitment, accountability, and result-oriented mindset.Good communication and coordination skills.
