To help us achieve this mission we’re looking for an experienced leader to take on the newly created VP of BD Growth and Development role to drive growth operations in Japan and expansion in APAC. The Role: As a senior member of the Business Development team in Tokyo, you will be responsible for managing several partners in Japan and in Asia. You will lead the business as well as the team by facilitating, enabling and also working with partners in order to accelerate subscription business, engagement, loyalty and revenue. With strong organization and project management skills, you will be required to build the strong and strategic relationship with our partners and execute the best possible result to DAZN. Develop and accelerate a comprehensive business development / new market strategy aligned with DAZN's core goals and objectives. Build and maintain excellent relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in Japan / Asia. Identify and engage with potential partners, clients, and stakeholders to generate new business. Identify and launch new market opportunities in Asia. Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform strategic decision making. Lead negotiations and manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to contract closure. Foster long-term partnerships that align with DAZN's strategic goals. Represent DAZN at all levels with new business. Identify and capitalize on new technology and commercial opportunities, creating compelling business cases to justify strategic investments. Serve as a key enabler for sales, marketing, product management, and other internal teams, fostering a unified approach to achieving revenue targets. Collaborate closely with our internal development team to understand partners' technical requirements and help steer product innovation and joint solutions. Architect and execute a partnership and integration strategy that aligns with business objectives and drives substantial pipeline growth.
