About this role
As our new Graphic Designer, you'll be part of a new editorial project within DAZN. You will play a strategic part in enhancing editorial content and shaping the overall aesthetic direction of the magazine, contributing to the creation of a contemporary, relevant product aligned with the company’s positioning. Your creative contribution will be essential in shaping the project's foundation and unlocking its full potential, influencing from the earliest stages the graphic evolution, content formats, and overall user experience. Given the live nature of sports broadcasting, the role requires flexibility across evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. This role will be a 15 month fixed term contract. Please note, our Talent Acquisition team and some Hiring teams are based in the UK so parts of the recruitment process will be in English. Please also upload your resume in English, thanks! Design and develop high-impact visual layouts for an editorial project, ensuring aesthetic consistency, readability, and effective content enhancement across all digital touchpoints. Work closely with all content team functions (editorial, social, video, marketing, and product) to translate narrative and strategic needs into effective visual solutions. Update graphic materials daily for news and content scheduled in the editorial calendar, ensuring timely publication, visual consistency, and adaptation across different formats. Actively contribute to brainstorming sessions and concept development, taking part in shaping the magazine’s visual interface and evolving the brand’s visual language. Propose ideas, formats, and innovative solutions for new editorial initiatives and special projects, with the goal of enhancing user experience and differentiating the product in the market. Digest company brand guidelines and translate them into a distinctive editorial identity, aligned with brand positioning and tailored to the magazine’s specific needs. Monitor visual trends, best practices, and key references across sports media and entertainment, conducting ongoing benchmarking activities to keep the magazine aligned with leading aesthetic and innovation standards.
