RWDI is seeking a Senior Wind Tunnel Operator to join the Wind Tunnel Group in Guelph , Ontario. This is a full-time permanent position, requiring rotating day, afternoon, and night shifts. The Senior Wind Tunnel Operator is responsible for setting up and executing experiments adhering to the prescribed test program and quality standards. The role includes but is not limited to: Physical assembly of the test model onto the testing platform Physical assembly of testing sensors into the wind tunnel Physical connection of sensors to data acquisition equipment Configuration of various software programs to facilitate data collection Ensure physical test setup meets quality control standards Ensure acquired data meets quality control standards Communication and collaboration with internal and external team members Safe operation of equipment and tools Following SOPs in relation to handling and operating equipment and instrumentation Performing all duties effectively to meet project timelines Please note, this is a week day position (Monday - Friday), on a 2 week rotation of day, afternoon and night shifts.
