As a Network Engineer II, you'll play a key role in maintaining the secure, reliable technology infrastructure that supports care across Compass Health Network. You'll design, implement, monitor, and optimize enterprise network systems while helping ensure seamless connectivity for staff and the communities we serve. This role partners with IT leadership to strengthen network performance, support organizational growth, and deliver dependable technology solutions across multiple locations. Maintain, configure, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless technologies, and security appliances. Design and implement scalable network solutions that support organizational growth and performance. Monitor network health, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure maximum uptime and reliability. Support network security through best practices, system hardening, backups, and disaster recovery planning. Plan, coordinate, and implement approved network upgrades, maintenance, and change requests. Manage monitoring platforms and notification systems to proactively identify and resolve issues. Research and evaluate network technologies, products, and services to support future initiatives. Collaborate with vendors, contractors, IT leadership, and cross-functional teams on network projects. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior Network Engineers. Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation to support critical network operations.
