About this role
Based in Oxford, you will be a member of the GB & Ireland advisory team at Aurora, helping our clients make better strategic and investment decisions by delivering cutting-edge insights across the energy transition. As a Senior Analyst on this team, you will support all aspects of client engagement: helping identify issues, forming hypotheses, conducting analysis, synthesising conclusions into recommendations and presenting to senior clients. You will become an expert user of Aurora’s models to develop data-based strategic insights into the energy transition for a wide range of clients including utilities, developers, investment firms, governmental bodies and non-governmental organisations. You will work in a dynamic, stimulating, and demanding yet supportive environment. You will apply your strong interpersonal skills to thrive in connected, cooperative project teams. Over time, you will grow into an industry expert under the guidance of senior colleagues with deep experience addressing major strategic issues in the energy transition. This role would suit a professional with two to four years' experience in the energy sector, management consulting, financial services or a similar field. Carry out quantitative analysis to deliver bespoke insights for clients based on applying Aurora’s suite of energy market models to meet client needs. Monitor market activity, keeping abreast of the latest market developments. Develop presentation materials and contribute to the delivery of workshops to a broad range of clients. Contribute to the expansion of Aurora's analytical tools and thought leadership.
