Job summary
We are looking for an organised, motivated, and professional Plastic Surgery Secretary to join our busy Plastic Surgery Department. This is an excellent opportunity to support a dedicated clinical team while helping to deliver high-quality patient care.
Main duties of the job
Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to Plastic Surgery consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team. Manage clinic appointments, waiting lists, and theatre schedules. Prepare, type, and distribute clinical correspondence using digital dictation. Answer telephone and email enquiries from patients, GPs, and healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate patient records in line with NHS policies and confidentiality requirements. Coordinate meetings, diaries, and clinic arrangements. Work closely with colleagues to ensure an efficient and patient-focused service.

Education and qualifications Essential
