About this role
[What the role is] To protect the health of Singaporeans by reducing the burden of communicable diseases through evidence-based policy formulation, the implementation of effective disease prevention and control programmes, including epidemiological surveillance programmes and timely outbreak response and management.
You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time. [What you will be working on] Key Job Responsibilities:
• Formulation, implementation, monitoring and review of disease prevention and control strategies
• Develop and implement surveillance programmes
• Provide technical subject matter expertise for travel health
• Programme management and administration
[What we are looking for] Job Requirements:
• Preferably with Pharmacy, Life Science, Medical, Nursing, Public Health or Epidemiology background
• Minimum 2-3 years work experience work experience in public health or travel medicine
• Strong analytical skillsets, including grasp of data analysis techniques
• Ability to work under pressure and simultaneously on different projects
• Excellent organisational skills and resourcefulness
• Good inter-personal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate across disciplines
• Willing to work beyond office hours, especially during outbreaks.
• Continuously keep up-to-date on new developments in the communicable diseases field
