Position: Prekindergarten Instructional Assistant (Contractual) Effective: 9/1/2026 Location: Schools with Prekindergarten Classrooms Salary $17.70/hour contractual (no benefits) Position contingent on grant funding. Hours: Hours determined by grant funding (Up to 25 hours per week) Qualifications · Knowledge of early childhood developmentally appropriate practices. · Experience working with special education and multilanguage students. · Ability to communicate effectively. · Exemplary organizational and planning skills. · Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students and teachers. Responsibilities · Work with Prekindergarten special education and multilanguage student(s). · Support the instructional needs of Prekindergarten student(s). · Follow plans created by the classroom teacher. · Work with staff and student(s) to develop effective intervention strategies. · Promote a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction and student learning.
