About this role
HOURS PER DAY: 6.75 DAYS PER YEAR: 177 REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 60 semester hours of college credits (must provide official transcripts)
• Valid Illinois Licensure with Stipulations or Illinois Teaching Certificate or 90-day sub certificate
• Ability to work under the supervision of a classroom teacher
• Concern and care for young children
• Ability to be a "self-starter" and anticipate needs and jobs
• Physical and TB test
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Preparation of materials, learning centers, bulletin boards
• Lunchroom and playground supervision
• Direction of quiet time activities
• Learning center and small group supervision
• Helping children with personal needs
• Preparation of snacks
• Story time (read to the children)
• Provide help in disciplinary matters
• Clerical duties and testing
• Perform other duties as assigned
