About this role
This position is for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a part-time, year round position. SUMMARY The Spirit Store Coordinator serves directly under the supervision of the Director of Advancement to support the execution of The Warrior Warehouse by managing the daily operations of the school's spirit store. The role is pivotal in helping to fulfill the mission of honoring the Lord Jesus Christ by providing students an education based upon academic excellence and biblical values. ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS PERSONAL BELIEF & BEHAVIOR
• Must be a born-again Christian whose lifestyle and character demonstrate obedience to God and the Holy Scriptures, and express agreement with the doctrinal viewpoints and Christian lifestyle requirements of the school.
• Must be able to serve as a positive Christian role model to others in the CCS school context, living a life that models the school's code of ethics, as outlined in the Faculty/Staff Handbook.
• Must be able to accept and support the school's philosophy and statement of faith and doctrine.
• Must understand and commitment to CCS's educational objectives and philosophy of education.
• Must possess sufficient biblical knowledge that enables the individual to integrate Scripture job duties, thus imparting to students, parents and co-workers a biblical worldview position.
• Must faithfully attend a local church whose fundamental beliefs are in agreement with the statement of faith and doctrine of this school.
• Must affirm that he/she believes that working and ministering in this Christian school would be pleasing to God, would be consistent with his/her purpose in life, and would be a good stewardship of his/her time, talent, and professional abilities.

• This staff position requires the staff member to spiritually care and minister to those under the staff member's influence and leadership. This includes but is not limited to being available to pray with other employees, challenging your team with Bible principles during staff meetings, and extending the mission and vision of the school into the culture of the staff member's department.
• Each staff member must live a life that models the school's code of ethics, as outlined in the Faculty/Staff Handbook. In furtherance of the school's mission of promoting biblical values, each staff member must be involved in the spiritual discipleship and care of those under the direct influence of the staff member, including other employees, students, and families as appropriate.
FUNCTION AND DUTIES Customer Service
• Open the store daily by 7:45 AM and close at 4:00 PM.
• Greet and assist students, parents, faculty, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide product recommendations and sizing assistance for spirit wear and merchandise
• Answer questions about pricing, product availability, and special orders
• Resolve customer concerns or complaints promptly and courteously
Sales and Transactions
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process purchases, returns, and exchanges
• Handle cash, credit/debit card, and electronic payments accurately
• Ensure all sales are properly recorded and reconciled at the end of each shift
• Issue receipts and maintain secure handling of financial transactions
Inventory and Merchandising
• Restock shelves and displays to ensure merchandise is organized and appealing
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with ordering new merchandise
• Receive, inspect, and tag incoming merchandise
• Report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods
Store Appearance and Maintenance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment
• Keep displays, counters, and changing areas tidy throughout the day
• Decorate or update visual displays to reflect seasonal themes or school events
• Follow school guidelines for branded merchandise presentation
Administrative and Operational Support
• Open and close the shop in accordance with school protocols
• Prepare daily sales reports or summaries as needed
• Assist with planning and preparing for special events, sales, and pop-up shops
• Collaborate with school staff or volunteers during peak times (e.g., school events, sports games)
Communication and Teamwork
• Communicate with ‘Merchandising Coordinator' regarding product orders or custom items
• Attend staff meetings or training sessions as required
• Provide feedback on popular items and customer preferences to inform future purchases
