About this role

WATERTOWN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PENDING BOARD APPROVAL Qualified applicant must have minimum of high school or general equivalency diploma (GED). Post-secondary education is preferred. The successful candidate will work under the directive of the building administrator and the Coordinator of Behavior Support, and will support students who struggle in areas of social, emotional, or behavioral needs. A complete job description is available upon request. The candidate must be able to obtain, the following district-provided certifications:

• Crisis Prevention Institutes Non-violent Intervention Training (CPI)

• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting in making intervention recommendations for students with social, emotional, and/or behavioral difficulties; working directly with students to build skills in the areas of regulation and desired behaviors; and assisting the school teams in writing Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). CThis is a full-time, grant-funded position and is valid for the 2026-27 school year only. Continuation of this position will be contingent on future grant funding. Insurance and retirement benefits will be offered, and salary will be determined by experience and placement within grant funding limits, not to exceed $50,256. The work calendar will be the same as teachers and nurses. Interested applicants should include their resume and transcripts when applying.
