• IGP major directly related

• Reliable transportation to and from work site within the district

• Parental/guardian permission required

REPORTS TO: Director of Technology and Information Systems GENERAL SUMMARY: Spartanburg District Five is offering paid internship opportunities designed to provide high school students with hands-on experience across various career pathways. Interns will engage in real-world learning while contributing to key district operations under the supervision of experienced professionals. This internship aims to spark interest in high-demand fields while promoting the development of essential workplace skills such as problem-solving, communication, and dependability. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assist with the production of live game video coverage during football games

• Operate professional video cameras to capture live game footage

• Develop technical skills in camera operation, video switching, coordination of video feeds, and live media coverage

• Set up, operate, and maintain video production equipment

WORKING CONDITIONS: Interns may work in both indoor and outdoor environments and perform physical tasks that require standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Interns will not handle hazardous materials or perform skilled work without direct supervision. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided as needed, and interns are expected to wear appropriate attire, including closed-toe shoes. SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION Period of Employment: August 21 – October 23, with potential for additional days for football playoff games – work Varsity home games and JV & C team home games (when combined)

• August 21 – Varsity Football

• August 27 – JV and C Team Football

• September 11 – Varsity Football

• September 17 – JV and C Team Football

• September 25 – Varsity Football

• October 1 – JV and C Team Football

• October 9 – Varsity Football

• October 23 – Varsity Football

• Home Playoff games TBA
