Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dental Team Coordinator to join the Lancashire & South Cumbria Dental Service to lead and support the Dental Teams at Ringway dental centre, Ashton HC, Bamber Bridge clinic & Guild Lodge dental.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and highly driven individual, with the ability to motivate others. You will need to be able to demonstrate experience of excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage change and support colleagues around the current dental contract. You will need to be able to multitask, be proactive, innovative and able to keep quality, service users and the team at the heart of everything you do.You will need to have a good knowledge of the dental Service and also be registered with the General Dental Council as a healthcare professional.

Educated to degree level standard or equivalent knowledge or relevant experience Qualified Dental Nurse registered with the General Dental Council Evidence of continuing professional education

Experience Essential
Experience of staff management Knowledge and experience of disciplinary procedures Experience of General Dental Practice, broad based Community Dental Practice or Emergency Dental Service

Ability to work within a team and develop working relationships with professional groups and senior management across own and other organisations Ability to carry out all pre-use checks on all dental equipment and medical devices and identify problems Ability to pass on working knowledge of dental equipment and materials to new and existing team members
