QualificationsIn order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing leadership in planning and production principles and practices used to coordinate ship system overhaul, repairs or conversion projects. Examples of qualifying experience may include: leading production efforts for the overhaul, repairing and/or testing of shipboard work; estimating material and labor costs for shipboard work; and leading or directing work crews involving a variety of trades in completing a project. Major DutiesYou will serve as Assistant Project Superintendent for submarine Depot Modernization Period/Selected Restricted Availabilities (DMP/SRA’S) for Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility Australia Maintenance Support.You will prepare and collaborate in the preparation of comprehensive analysis reports covering all phases of studies and investigations.You will monitor, define, and/or conducts reviews relating to the development and refinement of new or existing management systems, operating policies, method and assigned programs and projects.You will prepare special evaluations, reports, findings, and recommended course of action.You will advice, counsel and instruction to individual employees on both technical and administrative matters.
