Major DutiesYou will perform the duties of a Work Leader in support of Inspection and Test of the Shipyard's and Region's Weight Handling Equipment (WHE).You will work along with and monitors the progress of the workers and must be proficient in demonstrating proper work methods, safety and housekeeping, and proper use of tools while providing oversite.You will be responsible to control the test team and the work area surrounding the test, sequence the test loads, and ensure that all applicable pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, electronic, and structural components are operational.You will certify function and reliability of all mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, structural, electronic, and electrical/mechanical systems.You will be responsible to review the crane equipment history records to ensure they contain all required documents, and the documentation provided is complete, accurate, and meets requirements prior to testing.
