Job SummaryYou will serve as a MANAGER in the Energetics Manufacturing Technology Department (M), Operations Support Division (M3) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-06 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-14 and GS-15.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-05 (GS-13/14 grade equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical oversight and leadership on the development and implementation of industrial control systems and facility renovations to ensure the manufacturing, storing, and disposal of explosives or contaminated items adheres to safety and security standards for the direct support of the program. Major DutiesYou will provide management oversight and leadership on configuration management and maintenance of equipment, disposal processes, quality control of documentation and hardware, and personnel qualification and certification.You will be responsible for managing development of industrial control systems, facility renovations, specialized tooling and equipment, conventional ammunition inventory, and disposal services for bulk explosives and contaminated items.You will approve procurement related requirements documentation and effectively communicating the division acquisition needs/priorities during meetings with the Contracting Department and other procurement stakeholders.You will be a second-level supervisor over the subordinate branches within the division and directly supervise the branch heads and support personnel assigned directly at the division-level.
