The Screen-out Element for this position is: THE ABILITY TO LEAD OR SUPERVISE: 1) Assisting with a multi-trade workforce (including maintenance mechanics, plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and carpenters); 2) Having some understanding of facility maintenance operations across multiple disciplines (HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, facility maintenance) to assist with assessing work, assigning tasks, and ensuring quality control; 3) Assisting with work orders, planning projects, and allocating resources; and 4) Helping with administrative tasks for a work center, which includes payroll and timekeeping. Major DutiesYou will plan weekly and monthly work schedules and sequence of operations for subordinates.You will establish deadlines and priorities on the basis of general work schedules and methods and policies established by higher levels of supervision.You will be responsible for assuring that schedules are met, resources are coordinated and the distribution of workload is balanced to provide optimum operational cost and performance at maximum customer satisfaction.You will be required to provide a cost estimate, completion date and give technical (consulting) assistance as required.You will coordinate pre-construction actions with other departments.You will evaluate working conditions in all work areas supervised, addressing occupational hazards in shops and work sites.
