Job SummaryYou will serve as a NON-DESTRUCTIVE TEST INSPECTOR LEADER in the Quality Assurance Department of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Major DutiesYou will perform nondestructive testing and analysis on mechanical components and structural assemblies related to Naval surface ships and submarines.You will arrange for correction of deficiencies and re-inspection of repaired items and recommend remedies for particular problems.You will participate in audits and submit reports and recommendations.You will control production work, assuring materials, processes and fabrication techniques meet specification and contractual obligations.You will acquire and record test results and data using enhanced signal processing and acquisition software on state-of-the-art computer-based platforms.You will perform calibration and safety checks of test equipment prior to and after performance of nondestructive testing inspections.
