Join Simply Biscotti as a Barista in our welcoming pastry shop located in Ottawa. In this role, you will craft coffee beverages, serve pastries/cakes, and ensure an outstanding experience for every guest. Your contributions will help us create memorable moments for our community.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and beverages with precision and care. * Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the café. * Provide friendly and attentive customer service to enhance guest satisfaction. * Assist in food preparation and serving as needed. * Manage cash handling accurately during transactions. * Support team members in daily operations to ensure smooth service
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience as a barista or in food service is preferred. * Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude. * Ability to handle cash transactions accurately. * Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods. * Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. * Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. * Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment.
