*Kenney Skylights* is seeking hardworking, reliable, and honest *General Labourers* to support our growing team. We specialize in all things Skylights, including framing, roofing, and exteriors. This role is perfect for individuals who take pride in physical, hands-on work and want to learn a specialized trade from the ground up.
As a General Labourer, you will work alongside our specialists to ensure projects are completed to the highest standard. You will assist with site preparation, material handling, cleanup, and basic general carpentry. Whether you are experienced in the trades or looking for a fresh start, we provide a path for professional growth and competitive wages.
*Position Overview:*
* Assist lead installers with skylight framing, roofing tasks, and exterior finishing. Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials / equipment on-site. * Use basic construction tools (circular saws, nail guns, hammers) to assist in structural framing and installations. * Perform thorough site cleanup and debris disposal to maintain a professional and safe environment for our clients. * Spend significant time working at heights, assisting with roof-level installations and weatherproofing. * Adhere to all safety protocols and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
*Qualifications: *
* Strong physical stamina and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment for extended periods. * Must be comfortable working outdoors in harsh or varying weather conditions. * Ability to perform manual labour, including lifting heavy materials and climbing ladders. * Basic understanding of construction tools is preferred, but we are happy to train individuals with the right attitude. * Must have, or be willing to obtain, a *Working at Heights (WAH)* certification. * You are honest, respectful toward colleagues and clients, and able to work effectively as part of a team or independently.

Pay: $22.50-$25.00 per hour
Experience: * Residential construction: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification: * Working at Heights Certificate (preferred) * Driving Licence (required)
