We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. *Duties*
* Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup * Take and develop dental radiographs as needed * Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care * Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including preparing instruments and materials * Document patient information accurately using dental software such as Dentrix * Manage patient appointments, follow-up care, and treatment plans * Ensure the sterilization and proper handling of dental instruments and equipment * Support pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication * Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment * Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient experience and office efficiency
*Skills*
* Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software * Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures * Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations * Experience with dental assisting tasks is advantageous but not mandatory * Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry * Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor * Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team * Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to patient comfort and safety
Pay: $60.00-$62.00 per hour
