About this role

Job summary We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our CQC-registered Learning Disability respite service in Beckton. This is a fantastic opportunity to take full operational ownership of a well-established service, driving high standards of care and supporting a dedicated team to deliver safe, person-centred, and high-quality support. Working closely with the London Learning Disability Locality Manager, you will play a key role in shaping service delivery and ensuring positive outcomes for the people we support. Your key responsibilities include: Delivering Outstanding Care Ensuring individuals receive personalised support that promotes independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion, with care plans that reflect their evolving needs. Driving Quality & Compliance Overseeing CQC registration and ensuring the 5 & 7 Horse Leaze service meets all regulatory and statutory requirements, maintaining safe, effective, and well-led services at all times.

Demonstrable experience of working within a respite service, ideally within the Learning Disability sector. Strong understanding of the adult social care sector and relevant regulatory frameworks, including CQC requirements. Proven leadership and management experience with the ability to effectively oversee a service and staff team. Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills. A flexible approach to working hours to meet the needs of the service. Person Specification

Qualifications Essential
