Overview:
• We are seeking an experienced Workday Finance Manager to lead the implementation, support, enhancement, and optimization of the Workday Financial Management platform. • This role serves as a key partner to Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Procurement, Internal Audit, and IT teams, ensuring efficient financial operations, compliance, accurate reporting, and continuous improvement across the Workday ecosystem.
What You'll Do:
Workday Finance
• Serve as the functional and technical lead for Workday Financials. • Manage and support Workday Financial Management modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Expenses, Banking & Settlement, Fixed Assets, Projects, and Revenue Management. • Configure and maintain Financial Data Model (FDM), business processes, security, and accounting posting rules. • Partner with Finance stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions. System Enhancement & Release Management
• Lead system enhancements, releases, testing, and deployment activities. • Support Workday feature adoption and continuous platform enhancement initiatives. Financial Operations & Reporting
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. • Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and analytics. Integrations & Data Management
• Manage integrations between Workday and external systems including banks, payroll providers, tax applications, and reporting tools. • Support Workday reporting, EIBs, integrations, and security configurations. Compliance, Governance & Testing
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, audit standards, accounting policies, and internal controls. • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and production validation activities. Production Support & Continuous Improvement
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and drive root-cause analysis. • Lead training, knowledge transfer, and change management activities. • Manage vendors, consultants, and implementation partners when required. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
• Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Procurement, Internal Audit, and IT stakeholders. • Work closely with global teams across EMEA and US regions to support business initiatives, projects, and ongoing operations. • Demonstrate flexibility to work in overlapping business hours and shifts as needed to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across EMEA and US time zones.
What We Are Looking For:
• 10+ years of experience in Finance Systems or ERP platforms, including at least 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials. • Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), Financial Reporting, and Financial Data Model (FDM). • Experience supporting Workday implementations and post-production environments. • Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS). • Experience with Workday reporting, EIBs, integrations, and security. • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Experience working with globally distributed teams across EMEA and US regions. • Must be comfortable collaborating across EMEA and US time zones and demonstrate flexibility to work in shifts based on business needs. • Workday Financials Certification. • Experience with Workday Accounting Center, Prism Analytics, Adaptive Planning, Treasury Management, BlackLine, SOX Compliance, and Workday Integrations. • Experience managing global Finance applications and support teams.
