Description of Post
This post is part of the EU Horizon Innovation Action funded project “Rewarding Agri-Environmental Results for a Green Transition (REWARD)”. Call Topic: HORIZON-CL6-2025-03-GOVERNANCE-02.
The overall objective of REWARD is to accelerate the transition towards resilient and sustainable farming systems by upscaling innovative payment mechanisms that empower farmers to deliver agri-environment-climate public goods (AECPG). By combining insights from results-based, collective and spatially targeted schemes with novel financing and robust monitoring, REWARD seeks to build scalable models that integrate economic, ecological and institutional dimensions. It involves a multi-actor partnership spanning 11 countries and 14 innovation hubs. The post holder will work within the international project team with a focus on co-designing, testing and evaluating a range of monitoring and evaluation tools for AECPG. They will assist with capacity building including designing online training programmes and knowledge exchange events.
Essential Qualifications
Minimum of PhD in environmental/agricultural sciences, geography or related discipline or exceptionally, equivalent* research experience (including industrial R&D).
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel and statistical software packages. • Technical report writing, organisational and presentation skills. • Proven record of working in a team. • Proven research synthesis, analytical and survey design skills. • Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
