Description of Post
The Lecturer will play an active role in teaching hours as required by management in General undergraduate and postgraduate nursing courses including teaching and research supervision.
Part of the lectureship responsibility involves research, and it is expected that the successful candidate will bring a strong interest and capacity for research and participate in strengthening the existing research teams.
The post-holder will be responsible to the Head of Department of Nursing and Healthcare, Donegal Campus.
Essential Qualifications
Actively registered on the general division Register of Nurses and midwives as maintained by Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann, Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) - or be eligible to be so registered. An Honours Degree (2.2 or higher) in a relevant Level 8 Nursing degree as specified in the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ), or equivalent. A minimum of three years relevant post-qualification experience. A minimum of three years relevant post-qualification experience.
