Requirements: We need you to be qualified to degree level or able to demonstrate equivalent skills and abilities.We need experience of designing, implementing and technically leading in some of the following areas: enterprise systems management and monitoring, especially Microsoft Systems Centre Operations Manager or Azure Monitor; HP server hardware support; cloud computing, especially Microsoft Azure; enterprise unified communications, especially Microsoft Exchange, Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams; device management systems, especially Microsoft Systems Centre Configuration Manager or Intune; datacentre environments including power management, air conditioning, security and networking; enterprise security.We need in-depth knowledge of storage area networks (SAN), network attached storage (NAS) and backup and recovery technologies.We need expertise in server infrastructure design and deployment.We need experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Citrix.We need strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.We need awareness of the strategic operational implications of effective IT for our organisation. Responsibilities: We implement, configure and maintain enterprise systems.We design and deploy server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers.We oversee server and storage performance tuning, patch management and firmware upgrades.We develop and maintain documentation for enterprise systems processes and procedures.We collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve system issues.We develop and maintain security protocols for enterprise systems.We plan and execute disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.We provide IT specialist advice to business users and IT peers in our specialist technology area.We manage technical staff within our technical area.We may supervise junior ICT Specialists.
