Salary: £65,000 - 65,000 per year
Requirements: Commercial experience developing IBM i / RPG applications.Experience maintaining and modernising business-critical applications.Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.RPG experience across multiple versions, including legacy and modern RPG.ILE experience.SQL experience.CLP experience.IBM i OS experience.Query 400 and DFU experience.Experience using an IDE such as VS Code or RDI. Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, test and support applications for a wide range of customer projects.Analyse business requirements and design effective software solutions.Produce technical documentation for new developments and application enhancements.Gain a strong understanding of client business processes and application landscapes to provide effective long-term support.Manage software changes from requirements gathering through to implementation.Deliver training and knowledge transfer to customers where appropriate.
