Salary: £80,000 - 80,000 per year
Requirements: We are looking for engineers with experience designing and delivering communication and information systems within complex engineering environments.Experience in nuclear, defence, aerospace, utilities, transportation, telecommunications or other highly regulated industries is highly desirable.Experience in one or more of the following areas is advantageous: telephony and unified communications, radio communications, broadcast and public address systems, data networking, network security architecture, remote access and network management technologies, data centre networking infrastructure.Experience delivering ICT systems throughout the full engineering lifecycle.Strong understanding of resilient system design, redundancy and fault tolerance.Knowledge of standards such as IEC 62443.Experience managing suppliers and technical stakeholders.Strong communication and leadership skills.A degree in Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline. Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of ICT, telephony, radio, broadcast and data network systems.Develop system architectures and translate functional requirements into technical solutions.Produce system specifications, design documentation and verification plans.Support design governance, technical reviews and lifecycle management activities.Provide technical oversight of suppliers and act as an intelligent customer.Collaborate with wider engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.Mentor and support junior engineers within the team.Lead technical delivery activities across multidisciplinary engineering programmes.
