The Market Manager at Hitachi, Ltd. is responsible for developing and executing market strategies to drive growth and profitability for specific product lines or solutions within a designated market segment. This role involves understanding market dynamics, identifying opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
How you'll make an impact:
• Conduct market analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, competitive insights, and growth opportunities.
• Develop and execute market strategies and business plans to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability objectives.
• Define product and solution roadmaps and manage the full lifecycle, including positioning, pricing, launches, and promotional activities.
• Partner with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams to develop value propositions, support commercial initiatives, and drive market success.
• Monitor market performance, build relationships with key stakeholders, and represent Hitachi at industry events to strengthen brand presence and thought leadership.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your background:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 8–9 years of experience in the electrical industry, with solid understanding of market trends, customer applications, and industry dynamics.
• At least 5 years of experience in Market Management, Product Management, Strategic Marketing, or related commercial roles.
• Proven success in developing and executing market strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business decisions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Proficiency in market research tools, CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and fluent English; Spanish and international travel availability are highly desirable.
