Job Summary

TYLin is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to support the delivery of complex Rail + Transit projects based in New York City, with opportunities to contribute to projects across the United States. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled BIM professional to play a critical role in the digital delivery of some of the nation's most significant transportation infrastructure programs.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You'll Do

As a BIM Coordinator within our Rail + Transit team, you will:

• Develop, maintain, and coordinate BIM models for complex rail and transit infrastructure projects, including stations, maintenance facilities, track corridors, and systems.

• Produce high-quality BIM deliverables using Revit, Autocad, Microstation, OpenBuildings Designer, and other Bentley and Autodesk applications.

• Support multidisciplinary model coordination, clash detection, and model integration across engineering disciplines.

• Implement project BIM standards, workflows, and digital delivery requirements in accordance with project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).

• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate 2D drawings, 3D models, drawings, schedules, and project documentation.

• Perform model quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) to ensure compliance with client requirements and TYLin standards.

• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, designers, and project teams to resolve design coordination issues.

• Support the preparation of digital deliverables for clients throughout all phases of project development.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM workflows, templates, and digital delivery processes.

• Stay current with evolving BIM technologies and industry best practices to enhance project delivery.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2-5 years of professional BIM experience supporting transportation, rail, or complex infrastructure, industrial, or commerical projects

• Experience using Revit/Autocad/OpenBuildings Designer (Bentley), with a good background in producing engineering/ Architecture drawings

• Experience developing and coordinating BIM models on large, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.

• Working knowledge of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), digital delivery standards, and model coordination processes.

• Experience performing clash detection, model validation, and QA/QC reviews.

• Strong understanding of engineering and architectural documentation workflows.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary project teams.

• A proactive approach to problem solving and a passion for delivering technically excellent BIM solutions.

Additional Information

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $81,200 - $ 101,500 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer.
