Job Title Deputy Manager - TechnicalJob Description Summary Job Description Job Description  To control and monitor the preventive maintenance carried out as per schedule.  To provide the resources and time for HSE training, workplaces, accommodation and facilities for staff.  Ensure SO observation completion on time.  TBT for all associated team members  Ensure 100% legal compliance  Participating in all near miss incidents and accident investigations.  Participating in emergency exercises  Requiring that all incidents are investigated promptly and take appropriate steps for preventive recurrence.  Attend safety committee meetings  Spread safety procedure across down team  To manage, operate, repair, and maintain the building in a professional and diligent manner, consistent with the approved budget and industry standards, in the locale where the building is operating.  To ensure fulfillment of occupants/customers obligations under the lease agreement of the space in the building.  To purchase all equipment, tools, appliances, materials including consumables and supplies reasonably necessary and desirable for the operation and maintenance of the building.  To handle all requests and complaints of the occupants/customers.  To ensure stringent health and safety practices in all the areas in the building.  To retain all documents and records, till the minimum retention period.  To ensure compliance of legal & statutory compliances check list pertaining to integrated management system & norms/ restrictions affecting the building. Roles in OH&S:  Promote and enforce adherence to DLF HSE Policy.  Support the implementation of DLF’s Safety Management System within the team.  Engage actively in OH&S processes including risk identification, training, and reporting. Responsibility in OH&S:  Ensure DLF HSE Policy is understood by self and coworkers.  Implement and communicate DLF Safety standards, SOPs, EGs, and OH&S procedures to the team.  Ensure OHS objectives are understood, and individual objectives are achieved as per target dates.  Identify and control risks in the workplace and ensure these measures are communicated to relevant employees.  Actively participate in the Employee Consultation Forum (ECF) and other OH&S meetings.  Ensure all incidents, Near Miss Cases (NMCs), and Safety Observations (SOs) are reported and responded to per IISC/SO procedures.  Enforce that work is carried out as per Permit to Work system and all identified risk control measures (OSRA, JSA, HIRA, TBT, etc.).  Attend all training sessions as per Training Needs Identification (TNI) and training plan.  Maintain and track all OH&S documents as per assigned responsibilities. Authority in OH&S:  Authority to stop work in case of unsafe conditions.  Authority to enforce compliance with OH&S standards and procedures.  Authority to recommend or request training, tools, or other resources necessary for safe operations.  Authority to report non-compliance to higher management or the HSE department. Accountability in OH&S:  Accountable for ensuring work is performed as per DLF Safety Management System.  Accountable for implementation and communication of safety procedures and control measures.  Accountable for incident reporting, participation in investigations, and initiating corrective actions.  Accountable for completing the required training and maintaining relevant OH&S documentation.
