We are hiring for multiple Full time and Part time PCNA positions across Main Campus, with a variety of shifts, schedules and units available to fit your career goals and lifestyle.
In this role, you will:
• Provide or assist with patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), including:
• Measuring vital signs and weight
• Assisting with personal care and activities of daily living
• Performing point-of-care testing
• Assisting with dressing changes
• Applying external monitoring devices
• Removing urinary Foley catheters
• Observe and report changes in patients' physical, mental or emotional conditions to the RN.
• Help maintain a clean, safe and organized patient environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA), obtained upon hire or within the new hire period
• Military experience as a Hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1) will also be considered
Preferred Qualifications:
• State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification

Physical Requirements:
• Requires full body motion to move and lift patients, manual finger dexterity with good eye-hand coordination; involves extensive standing and walking. • Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. • Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
