YOUR ROLE AS AN ASSISTANT MANAGER, PEOPLE OPERATIONS This role is to improve and manage company benefit plans, including health insurance, retirement plans, life insurance, and other employee perks. You will be a key person to assist in the development, communication, and enforcement of benefits and welfare policies in order to address the staff and company’s requirements.
Administer Employee Benefits Programs
• Manage and coordinate company benefit plans, including health insurance, retirement plans, life insurance, and other employee perks. • Ensure timely and accurately enrollment, changes, and terminations of benefit plans. Policy Development & Compliance
• Assist in the development, communication, and enforcement of benefits and welfare policies. • Ensure compliance with labor laws, social security, tax regulations, and company policies related to employee welfare. Vendor & Provider Coordination
• Liaise with insurance providers, brokers, and benefit vendors to manage service contracts and resolve issues. • Evaluate and negotiate vendor proposals to optimize cost and service quality. Employee Welfare Programs
• Plan, organize, and implement wellness programs, recreational activities, employee assistance programs, and engagement initiatives. • Monitor participation and effectiveness of welfare programs to improve employee satisfaction. Data Management & Reporting
• Maintain accurate records related to benefits and welfare activities. • Generate reports for internal use and statutory compliance, including benefits utilization and cost analysis. Budgeting and Cost Control
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the benefits and welfare budget. • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising employee satisfaction. Employee Communication & Support
• Provide guidance to employees on benefits-related inquiries and support them during life events such as maternity, illness, or retirement. • Conduct orientation sessions and workshops on benefits and welfare topics. Continuous Improvement & Benchmarking
• Stay updated on trends and best practices in employee benefits and welfare. • Benchmark against industry standards to propose improvements. Team Support & Coordination
• Support the HR Manager in planning and executing broader HR initiatives. • Coordinate with HR team members and other departments for seamless service delivery.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or relevant field. • At least 7 years relevant and practical experiences in HR Management , Compensation and Benefit , Project Management in a dynamic working environment • Strong knowledge and skills in Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits and Thai Labor Law • Problem-solving and decision-making skills and ability to work under tight deadlines • Good interpersonal skills, active and possess a high level of initiative, analytical skills, and high attention to detail • Problem-solving and decision-making skills • Good command of both written and oral English. • A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills. • Familiarity using Excel, Google Suite • Able to work well under pressure.
