The role provides leadership to a small team of project managers (approximately 4–8 people), including project assignment, issue resolution, escalation management, interaction with customers and business-unit leadership, and achieving project KPIs (Launch on Time, Budget, Cost & Quality).</p> <p> </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Requirements</b></H2> </div><div><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><br>• Manages a portfolio of complex, cross-functional engineering projects simultaneously<br>• Team development: Develop knowledge sharing environment and provide ongoing feedback.<br>• Help develop and lead the implementation of PMO operational strategy. <br>• Stakeholder management – Identifies and manages stakeholder expectations. Setting up cadence with stakeholders for smooth execution of projects.<br>• Manage the escalation process through appropriate channels for the project management team.<br>• Manage project capital, expense and resources within budget and ensure financial metrics are met.<br>• Support alternatives evaluation, variance analysis, cost calculations, etc.<br>• Develop project communication plans, lead periodic management level project reviews, report project progress, and manage stakeholder expectations.<br>• Drive discipline in developing project schedules, resource requirements and budget forecasts.<br>• Track and report on project progress and product cost.<br>• Lead integrated change management control for portfolio of projects.<br>• Addressing and resolving issues/impediments in project. <br>• Lead continuous improvement of existing processes and implementation of new processes.<br>• Create, monitor, and control risk management plan.<br>• The individual also leads project teams and manages a portfolio of their own projects as needed.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What your background should look like</b></H2> </div><div><p> <strong>Candidate Profile – Education/Experience/Requirements</strong></p> <p><br>• 18-20 years working experience with engineering background.<br>• 15+ years of project management experience, medical device preferred.<br>• 10+ years of people management experience.<br>• In depth understanding of stage gate process / end-to-end product development. <br>• Experience in effective project management strategies, project planning & execution.<br>• Experience in managing teams including performance management, rewards, and recognition.<br>• Extensive experience in stakeholder management. <br>• Proficient in Microsoft Project & other MS office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).<br>• Proficient in project ROI analysis (NPV, IRR, Payback period).<br>• Certified PMP or equivalent project management certifications preferred.<br>• Travel: Up to 25% as needed.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Competencies</b></H2> </div><div><div>SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers)</div></div></div></div><p><strong>ABOUT TE CONNECTIVITY</strong></p> <p>TE Connectivity plc (NYSE: TEL) is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
