Job Overview Sets up machine tools, fabricates, assembles, maintains, and tests machinery and equipment for experimental purposes as per the established machining procedures. Job Requirements Performing the quality checks for the finished products to ensure that the specified quality standards are met, documenting the defects, and identifying the root cause in case of common occurrence. Interpreting blueprints and other design documents to develop prototype models, creating toolpaths from models, and performing audits to ensure all the necessary parts are available to build, repair and test. Fabricating prototype level components according to specifications to support product development from ideation to product introduction and establishing machining processes for prototype components. Monitoring preventive maintenance of the machines and equipment through calibration and ensuring routine service in compliance with established guidelines. What your background should look like Educational Degree High School Diploma (Required) Two-Year Technical Degree in Plastic or Mechanical discipline (Preferred) Professional Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in Plastics Processing (Injection Molding) within the automotive industry Basic knowledge in Mechanics Competencies Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork
