We are looking for a passionate and entrepreneurial HR Business Partner who will be responsible for the people agenda and will also lead the people attraction and recruitment during the launch of a new manufacturing site. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a strategic greenfield project, building the workforce from the ground up and shaping the site's employer brand within the local community. You will partner with business leaders to design and execute a scalable hiring strategy that supports the installation, start-up and operational ramp-up of a modern and highly automated production facility. Position Summary As HR Business Partner for the manufacturing plant, you will play a key role in supporting the start-up and growth of a new production site. During the initial phase, you will lead recruitment activities and workforce planning, ensuring the attraction, selection and onboarding of the talent required to support the plant's ramp-up. As the organization grows, you will become the main HR reference point for the site, managing the full employee lifecycle and partnering with the Plant Leadership Team to drive people strategies, organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. You will also be responsible for fostering constructive employee and industrial relations, acting as a trusted partner for managers, employees and trade union representatives. A day in the life of a HR Business Partner: • Lead recruitment and workforce planning activities to support the start-up and expansion of the manufacturing plant. • Partner with business leaders to implement people initiatives aligned with operational and organizational priorities. • Manage core HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, talent development, employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. • Support managers in building high-performing teams, developing leadership capabilities and managing change. • Ensure compliance with labour legislation, company policies and collective agreements. • Build and maintain positive employee relations, managing day-to-day people matters and contributing to a positive workplace culture. • Act as the key HR contact for industrial relations activities, fostering constructive relationships with employee representatives and trade unions. What will make you successful? • Previous experience in an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role within a manufacturing, industrial or operations environment. • Proven experience in recruitment and workforce planning, ideally supporting business growth or plant start-up projects. • Solid knowledge of HR processes, labour law and employee relations. • Experience in managing or supporting industrial relations and interactions with trade unions. • Strong stakeholder management, coaching and influencing skills. • Ability to balance operational priorities with strategic HR initiatives in a dynamic environment. • Resilience, flexibility and a hands-on approach to supporting the business and its people.
