This position within the BESS Technology Optimization team will be responsible for managing technical solutions with a project development mindset and ensuring utility-scale energy storage projects are built with state-of-the-art technology and design features and can fulfill dispatch and use cases for evolving market conditions.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Support and drive strategic planning that impacts product selection, technology roadmap, or project standardization</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Contribute to the evaluation of emerging storage technologies with a focus on long-duration capability, cost reduction, reliability, and lifecycle performance</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Participate in continuous improvement of standard project designs, driving optimization in cost, performance, constructability, and operational reliability</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Coordinate priorities with Development, Procurement, and EPC sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Contribute to internal development of energy storage system designs, including cooling system architecture (air and liquid), controls strategy, and thermal performance Experiences: </strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Master’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university preferred</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Bachelor's degree in engineering is required</span></li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black;font-size:12.0pt">A minimum of 7 years of proven experience with energy storage technologies, with an understanding of OEMs, products, and use cases</span></li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black;font-size:12.0pt">Proven product management and product development experience</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Intellectually curious with a passion for exploring emerging energy storage technologies and challenging conventional approaches</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Open-minded and receptive to diverse perspectives, data-driven decision-making, and continuous learning</span></li> <li is an office-based role with some travel and visits to other RWE Americas offices and field locations. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations.
