Rosedean House Surgery is looking for a dedicated Practice Nurse to join our team in the heart of Liskeard. Following our recent CQC 'Good' rating, we're continuing to invest in our services and our people, making this an exciting time to join the practice.

Main duties of the job

As part of our multidisciplinary team, you'll deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across a broad range of practice nursing services, including long-term condition management, health promotion, immunisations, cervical screening, wound care and preventative healthcare. You'll have the opportunity to make a real difference to the health and wellbeing of our local community while working alongside experienced colleagues in a collaborative and supportive environment.Whether you're looking for a full-time (40 hours) role or a part-time position to suit your work-life balance, we'd love to hear from you.

Some of the key responsibilities of the job:

Assess, plan and manage care for patients with long-term conditions, promoting self-management and healthy lifestyles. Deliver vaccination and immunisation programmes, including travel vaccinations where appropriate. Undertake cervical screening, wound care and other routine practice nursing procedures. Provide health promotion, screening and preventative care to improve patient outcomes. Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure care is delivered in line with professional standards and best practice. Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.

Experience Essential

Experience working as a Practice Nurse within a primary care setting. Experience managing long-term conditions and delivering health promotion and preventative care.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Essential

Competence in immunisations, wound care and cervical cytology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
