This post forms part of a service currently subject to a service improvement and redesign programme. Service delivery models, roles and structures will be reviewed as part of the improvement process, which may result in changes and a consultation process in line with the Trust's Organisational Change Policy.Our Vision is to provide the best mental health, learning disability, autism and community based services for the populations we serve.As an integrated mental health, learning disability and community Trust, Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including:o Primary and secondary mental health care for children and adults including specialist inpatient child and adolescent mental health provision, perinatal mental health, forensic services including low and medium secure care.o Specialist community support for children and adults with learning disabilities and autism, including intensive support.o Community physical health and well-being services for children and adults.The post holder will provide a comprehensive administration and information service for the Initial Response Service. The post holder will liaise with staff within the initial response service and relevant teams to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will have a good standard of education with qualifications in English, Maths and Word Processing. Excellent computer skills are required. One of the primary purposes of this role is to provide a comprehensive administration service and therefore administration experience is essential in order to provide a professional service.Experience of dealing with people is also essential, as are excellent interpersonal and customer care skills. It is essential that the post holder has good organisational and communication skills. The post holder will be required to work both as part of a team and on their own initiative. A standard DBS will be required.
