About this role
Working as a Platform Editor at DAZN means becoming part of a team dedicated to delivering the best viewing experience to sports fans around the world. The Platform Editor is responsible for publishing, placing, and monitoring/overseeing sports content on DAZN and will highlight important moments, and work with editors, producers, marketing, and other teams. The role will be responsible for the merchandising of content on the DAZN platform as well as for maintaining, monitoring, and correcting the metadata of all content. This role is based in Munich, Ismaning. Please note, our Talent Acquisition team and some Hiring teams are based in the UK so parts of the recruitment process will be in English. Support the platform team in planning the platform’s presence for the whole DACH-Region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) Basic operations using the CMS, such as entering program titles, configuring streaming settings, and selecting images for programs streamed on DAZN Scheduling matches and events, quality control, and troubleshooting Creating titles and captions that effectively convey the appeal of program content, such as live broadcasts, highlights, and shoulder content Making editorial decisions that highlight the key moments of a match and deliver value to viewers Collaborating with various internal departments, including production, marketing, and others
