The Role As our new Senior Live Director, you’ll be responsible for the seamless execution of scheduled live events on DAZN’s OTT and Linear channels. You will take ownership of live broadcast delivery, managing playout and signal flow, while liaising with global production facilities to ensure high-quality output. This is an individual contributor role within the Transmission team, ideal for someone who thrives in a live sports environment and enjoys solving problems under pressure. You’ll work on a flexible shift pattern, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support DAZN’s busy global sports schedule. Execute scheduled live sports events to ensure accurate and timely broadcast Monitor and perform quality control of all incoming and outgoing signals Work closely with UK based TX Operations, and Presentation teams. Load, prepare, and transmit daily playout schedules for various channels Ensure all scheduled media is ready and liaise with relevant teams for any discrepancies Provide Mentorship to junior team members. Provide technical support for transmission services and equipment Proactively identify potential broadcast issues and plan for rapid resolution Maintain communication with internal and external production stakeholders
